Rooted is designed for private Family Spaces, invitations you control, limited shared links, permission-aware family features, and clear ways to download or preserve family information.
Rooted is operated from Canada. Some carefully selected service providers process or store information in the United States or other countries, where it may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of those places.

Your Sharing Choices
You control which memories, family updates, documents, and profile details are shared with family members and trusted helpers.
Shared Links
A guest may view the shared item first. Joining the Family Space requires family approval and leaves a clear record.
Communications
Text, email, push, and family calls require consent, family permission where needed, opt-out controls, retry limits, and a clear history.
Downloads And Retention
Family Spaces support downloads, preserved access, deletion requests, retention rules, and backup policies that respect family permissions and unresolved disputes.
Where Data Is Processed
Rooted uses service providers including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare. Depending on the service, family information may be processed outside your province, state, or country, including in the United States. Snomex remains accountable for information under its control and uses contractual, access, encryption, and security safeguards appropriate to the information.
Regional Privacy
Privacy requests are handled according to the laws that apply to the customer and service region. Customers may ask where their information is processed or request access, correction, download, or deletion through Rooted Privacy.
